Miami Airport Transportation


The Orange Line connects MIA international airport with different parts of the city along 25 miles.


The Metrorail stations are the following ones:

MIA Metrorail Station - Earlington Heights (with Long-Term Parking) - Allapattah - Santa Clara - Civic Center - Historic Overtown / Lyric Theatre - Government Center - Brickell - Vizcaya - Coconut Grove - Douglas Road - University - South Miami (with Long-Term Parking) - Dadeland North and Dadeland South.



Routes that serve MIA airport: 7, 37, 42, 57, 110 (J), 150 (Miami Beach Airport Flyer), 238 (East-West Connection), 338 (Weekend Express), 297 (27th Avenue Orange MAX) and 133 (Airport-Tri-Rail Shuttle).



Tri-Rail is a commuter train that connects Miami airport with Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. It is one of the most easy ways to travel through South Florida.


To pick up the Tri-Rail, passengers can take the MIA Mover from the airport and go to the Tri-Rail station, located in the Central Station/Rental Car Center.


Fares: the minimum price for one way ticket is $2.50.

Bus - Airport Flyer Bus

Passengers may follow the pink signs to pick up the free mover and go to the Transit Center. In the Transit Center / RCC passengers can reach an airport Flyer bus.

Buses run every 30 minutes - or less - from 6am to 11pm daily. After 11pm, we recommend you to take a taxi.

Fares: $2.40 (price is subject to change).



Taxi ranks are located in the Arrivals, outside the Baggage Claim Areas. There are licensed and metered taxis outside the terminal as well as wheelchair accessible taxis.


SuperShuttle: D, E, F and H

It allows passengers to share a ride and save money.

Location: Arrivals Level, outside the Baggage Claim areas.

SuperShuttles run 24/7. Fares are measured by zones and areas. Ask to the driver before pick up a shuttle to have an idea about what are you going to pay.


Hotel Shuttles

Located in the Departures at MIA airport. There are wheelchair-accessible shuttles.

Limousines and Vans are also available from MIA airport. There are a lot of companies that provide the service.
